Inspired by a reference from Rob Greco to Philip Toledano’s photos, I present Blank Stares—a set of eight photos of emotionless yet deeply concentrated students playing shoot ‘em up video games.
Their expressions (especially this one) sure do remind me of the citizens of Oceania in Apple’s 1984 Macintosh commercial.
