Great Artists
I did something interesting. For the entire 2.5 hours of the Children’s School Great Artists night, via a combination of video and text chat, I had conversations with attendees in the exhibit room. The way it worked was that I was in a different room and they could see live video + audio of me and could interact by typing messages to me on their keyboard.
To clarify: I could not see them. I could not hear them. They could see me. They could hear me. They could type to me.
And if nobody was typing anything to me, I just talked to myself—aloud, for anyone who was interested to watch via the video.
Like if there was a piece of one way glass between me and the crowd, I never had any idea if anyone or everyone was watching me.
